The Heart of the Problem
Those who oppose US foreign policy are quite precise
about their central message to us. There will be no
peace in the Middle East until the Israeli/Palestinian
conflict is resolved satisfactorily.
Recognizing the importance of this reality, the
Peacemaking Committee of Heartland Presbytery has set
aside a significant number of scholarships for area
students, professors and Presbyterians to attend a
two-day regional Sabeel conference at Village
Presbyterian Church on October 20-21, 2006. These are in
addition to the student scholarships offered by the
Justice Peace and Environment Committee (JPEC) of
Village Church.
